Believe it or not this is the first time I have ever made a planetary image in LRGB. Finally making use of that Atik filter wheel I bought a couple of years back.

Seeing was OK. Surprisingly I was able to use the 5x Powermate. Could not do that with my old colour toucam but the mono chip allowed enough light through.

Background

Some notes on how I make planetary images. It's as much as a reminder for me as a guide to help those just starting out. I've a long way to go but hopefully someone will find these notes useful.
