With all the solar activity recently there was bound to be some great solar storms and aurora resulting from them. Having a look around the "interweb" I came across two astounding videos
Firstly Ole Christian Salomonsen spent 6 months gathering 50,000 shots from Tromsø, nothern Norway. A unique video project as his goal was to show us the aurora in as near as possible to what they look like in real time. Lovel haunting soundtrack as well. See the video here:

At the same time I came across this video from Terje Sorgjerd taken around Kirkenes and Pas National Park in Norway. Average temperature in that area was -25C!
